These additional requirements include:
- Holding current AASECT Certified Sex Therapist status in good standing
- Accumulating substantial post-certification clinical experience
- Completing additional formal supervision training
- Providing documented supervision of sex therapy cases
- Demonstrating advanced competence in ethical and multicultural practice
